Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website. If something does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.

Our aim

We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

What we do

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and the focus position is always visible.
• A “Skip to content” link is the first thing on each page.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks and link and button names for screen readers.
• Text and controls keep strong contrast against the black background.
• The moving record background stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Videos start only when you press play, and the player offers YouTube’s captions where they exist.
• The page works at phone widths and when text is enlarged.

Known limits

• The video player belongs to YouTube, so its controls and captions follow YouTube’s own accessibility.
• Some older videos may not have captions yet.
• Pages we link to, such as social networks and the sponsor application, are not run by us.

Tell us about a problem

Email contact@ninedegreesnorth.ph with the page, what you were trying to do, and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within a week.
