Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
This website does not use cookies, accounts, ads or profiling. It counts page views, clicks and video plays anonymously so we can see how many people use it and which parts are useful.
Nine Degrees North (“NDN”, “we”) is a music movement in Baguio City, Philippines. This policy explains what personal data this website handles, why, and what rights you have. It follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and, for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the GDPR.
1. What we collect
Anonymous counts
When you open a page, click a link or button that we count, or press play on a video, the site sends us one record with:
- the kind of event (a page view, a click or a video play),
- the name of the thing you clicked, for example “social.youtube”,
- the page you were on, such as “/calendar”,
- the text and address of the button or link,
- the website you came from, only its domain name,
- whether your screen is that of a phone, tablet or computer, judged only from its width, and
- the time.
We do not record your name, email address, IP address, browser or device model, or any identifier. We cannot tell who made a view or a click, or connect two of them to the same person. That means we count views, not individual visitors. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the site sends no records at all.
Technical logs
Like any website, the service that delivers this site may keep technical logs of requests, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running. We do not use these logs to identify or follow visitors.
Email you send us
If you write to contact@ninedegreesnorth.ph, we receive your email address and your message. We use them to reply, and keep them only as long as needed to handle your inquiry.
2. Videos
Videos on this site are YouTube videos. Nothing from YouTube loads in your browser until you press play. The preview pictures are delivered by our own server. When you press play, the YouTube player (served from youtube-nocookie.com) loads, and Google may collect data such as your IP address and set cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. If you prefer, watch on YouTube directly or skip the video.
3. Other websites and tickets
Links to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, the sponsor application and other sites lead to services we do not control. They have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow the link. If you buy a ticket to a show, the details you give are handled under the privacy policy of the ticket seller you buy from.
4. Why we use data
- To see how many pages are opened and which links and videos people use, so we can improve the site (our legitimate interest).
- To keep the site secure and working (our legitimate interest).
- To answer your emails (to respond to your request).
We do not sell personal data, show ads, or build profiles of visitors.
5. Who handles data for us
- Supabase stores the anonymous count records on our behalf, in a database located in Singapore.
- Our hosting provider delivers the website and keeps the technical logs described above.
- Google (YouTube), only if you press play on a video.
Data may therefore be processed outside the Philippines. We ask the providers above to protect it to a standard consistent with this policy.
6. How long we keep it
Count records are deleted after 13 months. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for reasonable record keeping, then deleted.
7. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection. The count records can be written only by our server using a private key, and the database blocks all other access. Access to the data we hold is limited to people who need it.
8. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to object, to correct it, to have it erased or blocked, to receive a copy in a usable format, to claim compensation for damages, and to complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). If you are in the EEA or the UK you have similar rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Because count records cannot be tied to a person, we usually cannot find or change them for you. For anything we hold about you, such as an email, write to contact@ninedegreesnorth.ph and we will reply within a reasonable time.
9. Children
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
10. Changes
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and its date. For how we use cookies and storage, see the cookie policy.
